Our chestnut mushrooms are fresh and young, grown year-round in a chemical and fertilizer-free environment using a wood-based medium. They are a good source of vitamins B2, B3, B5, and many other micronutrients. Chestnut mushrooms are very similar to shitake in taste, with a nutty flavor. Our favorite ways to implement chestnut mushrooms are in pasta dishes, stir fry, or as mushroom dust in salad or soup.
